3 months!

I can't believe the months keep passing so fast!!!!! We are in the middle of our kitchen remodel, there are pictures up on Facebook. We had mold behind the sink so we had to gut the whole thing and get it out fast! This was my first demo project, it was liberating to say the least! We rose the celling a foot, added insulation (the house was built in 1930, so the attic and the kitchen are the only two rooms with insulation now.), tiling the floor with a beautiful slate, our "mocha" all real "green" wood ((made in the USA!)) cabinets are two weeks out, we are getting a white Farm Sink, and butcher block counter tops, our uppers will be restaurant style open shelves. we are going to subway tile the walls and use a stainless subway tile as an accent. Last but not least we are using a old school bead-board on the celling to tie in the 1930's. We have original bead-bord on our front porch which is still in really good shape so that will be a nice touch to add on the inside as well. WEDDING UPDATE: The 20 rooms that we had blocked off at the COURTYARD MARRIOTT HISTORIC DISTRICT HOTEL HAVE ALL BEEN BOOKED! We are in the process of getting more rooms blocked so if you are planning on staying there try and wait until we can block more rooms at the discounted rate!!! I will be posting on here and on Facebook when it clears! We also have blocked rooms at the Mainstay Suits in Mt. Pleasant (I'm waiting for the conformation email that has the group code for the lower rates which I will post as soon as I receive it!),but if you call and say Sipsis/Savas Wedding they should give you the rate. We are so excited for this great occasion to get here soon! It's been a really fun process (with a little stress here and there) and we are very excited to be able to share this day with you! 4 Months!

OMG! It's getting so close and time is flying by! I'm so ready for the big day and can't wait to have all of our Family and Friends in one place! It's going to be such a good time!! We still have a lot to do before OCT which I know it's not even technically summer yet but it feels like it is right around the corner!! Can you sense the bit of (excited) panic?! E&P

5 MONTHS!

We've hit the five month mark! crazy how time is flying! We have really everything planned out now its just down to the final details! More on us... Perry and I are working hard on our new home. We tore down the old "Florida Room" out front and now have a nice large front porch! Can't wait to decorate it and make it more homey! We are planning on painting the house soon because in the process of taring down the walls we found out that there are three different colors on the front of our home which looks very silly! We have only a few windows left to instal but the ones which we have done already look amazing! They also keep the house cooler (which is huge since we currently have no A/C!) Looking into installing that soon as well because summer is upon us here in FL.. there is no such thing as Spring, or Winter for that matter! It goes from warm to hot. (I miss NC weather!) I just finished a 30 Day Bikram Yoga Challenge! It was amazing, I have never felt better on so many levels! Perry actually came and tried out a class with me, he did so well! He said he enjoyed it a lot. So we both can recommend it! Excited for May we are hoping for a few changes in the next few weeks that will bring us much joy and peace. Be on the look out...
